Hi all, does anyone have any recommendations for home insurance in BC? First time I've had insurance and note that on some quotes they want the previous insurance company which I don't have.

I've tried a couple of the online quotes and they ask for previous. Sometimes I can't get to the next stage without it.

Any thoughts on TD and RBC, I'll try BCAA as well

I did the online quote with TD and then rang them to finalise. My wife is SFU alumni so they get a discount

I can't exactly recommend a specific company since the perfect one depends on what you're looking for and your budget. However, I can say that you should try your chances of getting the services of Surex. They'll collect different quotes so that you can compare them easier. Good luck.
