Hello again, thanks for the information before.

I posted back feb. questions on how to start the family sponsorship. After delays due to money, fbi check, and work. Me and my wife have manage to collect all the documents. She has them now, and were filling up the paperwork. I just finally got my deferred action in the US since I was a childhood arrival. Was wondering if the process has to through the Mexican office, i know ask this before, but after the 6 month of getting paperwork done and getting everything we need, and seeing some announcements earlier of the LA visa office accepting applications for non-american people, so they can immigrate to canada, if its possible to make our paperwork go through the LA office since i live in LA at the moment. Thank you.

You can choose Ottawa ( which is the VO of reference for US residents and Citizen), if you live legally in the US. However, at the end, it's up to CIC to decide to send your file to Mexico or Ottawa - you will know where your file is going once you get sponsor approval and CIC will inform you where your file has been sent to.
Good luck,
