Help.. Visiting visa for Family, 2 got passport request, no info on third one

Hi,

I applied for multi-entry visitor's visa for my family (my wife, my mother and I) on 04/13. I am is USA with H1 Visa and my wife is on H4. My mother is on B1 visa.
Previously my wife and I have traveled to Niagara falls. For travel purpose we applied for visa again as my mother wanted to visit Canada.

On 05/09, I received passport request for my wife and I but no information for my mother.
We applied together in same package but only two got passport request and no information on my mother's application.
no reply to email or phone from Canadian consulate.

Any one faced the same problem?

Hi there,
I have the same issue.

My mother and brother both applied for visitor visas and my mother received an email today for passport request. the email says to her "this is for yourself and (if applicable) family members" . However, on the top of the page only my mother's name and file number is written. I do not know if it is for both or not.

Have you found out about your case?

If the mother is not a resident of the USA her visa will not be processed in the USA it will be processed in her home country.

Could you get the third visa? Did you guys get the third passport request?
