Thanks. I actually called back to the call centre have been enlightened things have changed on the sponsorship processing. They have 12 months for Outland sponsors to send SA. So how can they keep our life in limbo and what if last minute they say oh refused? Mines been in since oct 2 2017. I don’t understand how they can go one year and in the end say sorry. I liked it before when you knew you got approval or refused for sponsor. That way you could fix issues and re apply. I have contacted my MP don’t you worry. As stated I have a step child who was shot and they killed her mother , police reports and therapist letters . My family is in danger.!! I’ve kept telling this to the call centre each and every time so enough enough I called my MP today!! Good luck everyone with the process. I’ve got my confirmation they recieved it on oct 2, 2017 and nothing since as they want to do is say “ we have 12 months” if this happened to one of their family members they surely wouldn’t be prolonging and saying we have 12 months to process your application. I cry every day and I pray every day they don’t come to kill my step daughter because she witnessed her mother’s death and she’s 12 and also got shot 2 times herself!!!!.

Don't bother with the Call Centre. They provide incorrect information all the time.
Sponsor Approval is done within the first few months before the app is transferred to the local VO and sponsors are notified. As I said, occasionally, that notification isn't sent or it is sent but goes to your spam and you never see it.

WE SUBMITTED WITh our application that one child my husband has only given money as her mother will refuse all through the years for him to see her, we stated the mother would not allow his daughter to do a medical and she blocked us on all social media and changed phone numbers moved around, so what in the heck are we supposed to do now? As immigration states it can get application refused and all this sort of stuff. We haven't had ANY CONTACT WITH THIS CHILDS MOTHER OR CHILD, THE CHILD IS 10 AND MOTHER HAS FORBID ACCESS TO HER.UNDER the circumstances my husband worked and raised his other child after all this. Its not his fault how and what do we do no?? Like it's been over 2 years now from hearing or being able to find or contact the other baby mother!
Actually to be honest , when it said when filling application out reason for not accompanying the immigration sub office told me to write what it was, we were never told that we had to submit documents at all was never ever mentioned it just says give reasons or reason so we did. I can get letters from all people who know him and his siblings that she's not a nice person and will not let him see her especially since I'm in his life mean while its been years they haven't been together like 10?
Plus I'm sure because wyej I'm there we have home visits from the therapist because of his other daughter 12 yrs being shot n witnessed her mothers death she will state that we've spoken of her and she's never seen her at our place. Because of her mother being spiteful.
There is a VERY big difference between non-accompanying and excluded. A non-accompanying child is still included in the app and still undergoes a medical.
Your husband needs a notarized declaration stating that he understands that his child will be excluded from the Family Class and he will never be able to sponsor her. He needs to show proof that he has tried to contact the mother to obtain the child's medical. If there are any custody documents showing the mother has full custody, he needs to show those as well.
So if I had someone of authority call her and she refused that would be enough? Then write up he's aware he cannot ever sponsor her to Canada you think its an issue still?
