Hey Guys,

I have a big confusion around the question in the Study and Languages section which asks for entering Level of Education. The thing that confusing me is that should I enter Level of Education corresponding to the one that i am currently adding or is it the overall education level of mine. I know the question itself is confusing !!

So, basically i have a bachelors degree which is assessed by WES as 4 years Canadian bachelors and i have also done a post graduate diploma of one year in the same field from canada. Currently, i am getting this breakdown in my profile:

CRS - Human Capital - Level of Education 120

If I add the corresponding Level of education i get 438 points, but if i select the option of two or more programs with one 3+ years in both my degrees, i get 470 points. Please guide me if i am doing this right.

Thanks in advance.

Hey Folks,

What is the Individual Assessment of your two degrees by WES? And what is your overall assessment?

Thanks for Replying,

So, I only got my bachelors assessed as that was from India and it came out to be equivalent to 4 years bachelors in Canada as well. My other degree is the Post Grad Diploma(1 year) which is done from Canada itself. That is why i did not got it assessed.

Hence, i am confused about the fact that shouldn't i be getting points for 2 or more degrees out of which one is more that 3 years. Right now i have selected Bachelors corresponding to my BE degree i have added and i have selected the option of 1 year diploma corresponding to the other one.

I do have the same situation. 4 years bachelors and 1 yr PG diploma.
I accessed my 4 yr bachelor and its under process.
But we dont have to access 1yr PG which is from Canada. I will select one or more once I get my ECA done.

Would you recommend me selecting, two or more degrees option as my bachelors is already assessed by WES and that is the option that best describes my scenario and probably yours too as we have one bachelors which is 4 years and we have one Post graduate diploma as well.

Now the only doubt that i have is the way you have to enter it in EE profile. Should I select this option(2 or more degrees) in both places where I have added my degrees there ??

I wont tell you to do that by my word.. but I will :p
And will check whats gonna happen once I get ITA; and what documents they need.
I will select that on my PG diploma not on both. Because thats the one I did after my bachelors. And PG diploma need have a 3 yr degree completed.

gotchya, that was very helpful...!!

lets see if there is somebody else in the same boat and might share their experiences...

don't worry, you are still qualified and hope for the best. So once its expired also you can enjoy your vacation (go home and have fun) and come back once you get your PR card. :) Or extend your Visa as a Visitor if you don't want to go.. :)
