I blame the Internet, haha Before that less people developed relationship online, so less applications, you could only meet someone while traveling or studying. Now it is different, INTERNET dating is as common as meeting someone in real life, so of course, more couples fall in love from different countries and that brings more applications. I guess CIC wasn't prepared for Internet LOVE BOOM

I have been waiting for 4 years to have my husband join me as well. It seems like my whole application process is working in slow motion. Other than an appeal that I won back in October 2015 there hasn't been anything else that would slow it down this much.
