I think that it's important not to fall into the trap of using other people's timelines and expect yours to follow the same standard.
Saying it takes X amount of months after it reaches Havana is shortsighted, as the details of every application will impact processing time. Per example, mine arrived in Havana in late April, and my wife got the call in late July, with the visa coming first week of August, so 3 months and change in Havana.
A friend of mine from Toronto's application arrived in Havana beginning of April, and his wife got the call on the Wednesday before last, visa received last Wednesday, so 4 months and change in his case.
If you take the time and read though this forum meticulously, and do some basic math with the information available, you will see that these timelines fluctuate from 3 to 10 months once the file is in Havana, and it usually depends on many factors related to the applicants and their relationship (they were intimated to me by an acquaintance who works for Immigration Canada here in Montreal in detail, they have also been listed in this forum over time by various people).
So for those of you still waiting, don't drive yourself crazy comparing timelines too much, as someone once told me, it's not like waiting in line for the bathroom, there are more factors that play into it.. just try to be patient and encouraging with your significant other, your call will come..
P.S. someone asked as to what day the calls were made, my wife's came on a Thursday, but my friend's was on a Wednesday, so seems like it's not set in stone.. the one thing that seems set is that the visa appointments are always on Wednesdays.
