Hi everyone, I just wanted to let everyone know that my husband got a call from the Embassy today, he has to be at the Embassy on Dec 9th at 8:30, we are very very excited, no words can describe how we feels! I know there is a few of you waiting and I just wanted to post this to give you some hope and a timeline. I received my SA on July 10, so it has almost been exactly 4 months since receipt of my SA...I find the date is far from now, so maybe some of you guys will get a call too!!!

I'm so freakin excited for you! The last girl's husband got his Visa on the spot so be prepared! :D

Yes, SA is sponsor approval.

Hola... nothing has changed on ECAS as of yet, it is still saying "received your application " and the "medical has been received"...we are extremely hopeful that he will get his visa on Dec 9th...I wish everyone the best of luck, it is very hard to wait for something that is so important, but so worth the wait!!! :D

Thanks again for your update... I am (excessively) checking ECAS for an update, and knowing that you've actually reached 'decision made' without the status changing also makes me feel sooo much better about the fact that I have seen no change on ECAS in months! I am so excited for you both and I'm really hoping others get news soon. As for us, I'm not sure right now what we will do. My husband's father fell ill, and it's looking as though he has cancer. He is a wreck. My husband is already leaving his 10 yr old daughter. I can't imagine him leaving his sick dad as well. My heart is in shreds right now, not being able to be there for him during this difficult time.

Mrs. Hubby!

My heart goes out to you... I thought that this process was hard until we lost abuelita, it has not even been a month and i still feel helpless.

not having been there for my husband was the worst feeling i have ever felt the heart break I felt for his family and not having been able to say good by or spent more time with her.

You want to hold them and make everything better and you cannot.

The dynamics of our marriages are complicated and straining on the heart but god will bless as all as he as begun to bless some already. Our time is next.

Que dios bendiga tu familia en este momento más dificil.

xoxo

They charge. It was 405CUC for adults and 205CUC for children under 12 (I think 12 is the cutoff). This needs to be paid at a specific bank in Havana prior to going to the exam (the day before).

Hi Sorry for your bad news, if very difficult to be so far away from the people that you love, especially when you feel they need you or you need them!! My heart goes out to you and your husband and his family too. I want to say that the ECAS status changed, to interview Dec 9th, we are very excited and nervous at the same time. The gentleman that called him from the Embassy was extremely nice and gave him very encouraging words.
