KJG-- What time is hubby landing tomo?? you must be sooooooo excited!! wanted to wish you an awesome awesome (and easy) landing (for him)! Have an amazing start to your new life together!! ALLLLLL THE BESTTTTT xox :D :D :D

Just received my AOR from Havana, dated same day that my file had notes entered and was waived for the interview. So,
File was sent July 9th to Havana
Gcsm notes show file was opened and received August the 8th
Some notes regarding my section of the package were read Sept 21
File sat until October 24th. VIsa officer made all their notes, waived interview pending my submission of the missing dates they needed.
So looks like AORs (mine anyways) are not issued until the actual officer for your case begins to work on the file.

KJG
The big day tomorrow. Enjoy your hubby and I wish you all the best in your new life together :-* Do not forget us!

Hello everyone! What wonderful news that KJG's wait is over! Finally reunited in 'Toronto' (which by the way I think its translation is ' place to meet' )isn't that neat? :)

I am still working on my application. I realized that the forms I had almost ready were not the most up-to-date ones (they uploaded newer July versions for the IMM1344 and IMM0008 forms. I had the ones from February. This can easily be checked by reading the small number at the bottom,left-hand corner of the forms.

Anyhow, my husband had already sent me his forms with his signature via DHL, which arrived the day before yesterday. Now I am thinking that we'll have to repeat this DHL process again so that he can send me an original signed copy of this newer form.

I also thought that he could print, sign, scan and email the form back to me but I am afraid that they'll say something at Immigration (given that his signature would not be an original but an obvious copy of it?)

Does anyone know whether this could potentially delay things? Should I do DHL again and submit his signed original?

Thank you and have a nice weekend everyone, :)

Desiree

hun usuallly when forms are changed they give you some time to submit with the version before the new one. Call CIC on Monday and ask until when you have to submit the feb version. If that works for you both then no need to redo the signature and the DHL process. Just a thought! :D

Desiree.....I am pretty sure you will be okay with the February forms....minor changes for the July ones......the Feb ones were the importants so double check with CIC but I think you will be good to go with them :)

Hi everyone, thank you for your responses before. I discovered that there is one of the forms that my husband sent me before that is missing a signature so I will have to do DHL again anyways.

I am going over the checklist and organizing everything. And two questions came to my mind 1) what is the client ID that they ask for in the payment receipt? Is it the UIC client ID that one reports in one of the sponsor forms?

AND 2) regarding the option C print out, I looked at mine and it doesn't say " option C" nowhere. The form is titled " Income Tax Return Information-Regular". I am really hoping that I was sent the correct form. Can anyone shed light? Please :)

Sigh.........

Thanks

Kjg congratulations

You will not have a Uci number unless you yourself immigrated to Canada.
You will receive a Uci number once your package is accepted and imputed at immigration in Mississauga.
Just leave it blank for now.

The option c does not say option c on it. You are fine, just submit that form ;-)
