Yep...getting ready for the hubby....started sleeping on the other side of the bed last night in anticipation!!!! But heaven help me my son called today and says he might have to move home and I said just remember Yoani is coming he goes I know...but....I said fine ,but man I am going to be surrounded by testosterone....my husband...a moody 17 year old and a 20 year old.....yikes!!!!

LOL enjoy it... i would cut off my right arm to be surrounded by testosterone right now......haahahah I am feeling.........................like it's been tooooo long since I've seen hubby. hahah

So just got off the phone with hubby <3 !!! This damn Caribbean Transfer has put us in a pickle...so going to send money via the bank cause duales is 4 to 5 day for home delivery right now and that is not quick enough!!! Have to love him....he says tonite to not waste the money to fly down and get him...save my money......he knows me so well!!!! So asked him if we get the pre on the 5th will he be ready for the 9th...and he goes yes....and I said good!!! All he has left to do is getting his letter for driving experience and that is it. He finishes work on the 31st and then he will just be waiting to get pre in hand and me to confirm flight. I can't believe we are getting so close....it just seems more real as I deal with everything these last few days!!! I am starting to freak out!!!! I haven't lived with a man for 8 years.....and my teenage boys don't count!!!

He goes on the 31st but he is really confident....says his uncle has been helping him and has a little influence......so it may be ready on the 31st or the 5th....but either way booking for the 9th......I have that date set in my head now and it better work!!!!

I am just east of Toronto but the wind gusts are here and the rain is pelting down...game on with Sandy I guess....my husband couldn't believe we were getting the same storm. Of course they wouldn't put in Cuba news about the storm travelling through the States into Canada.

he does work on a resort I do not think he has satellite in the staff quarters...maybe though...

I have seen some pictures of NYC and it looks pretty bad there water wise.....

Our city sent out radio broadcasts and news asking everyone to make sure the drainage ditches/grates on their streets were clear...not covered in leaves so once the rain hits it has some place to go....it is amazing how many people just rake their leaves out unto the street and coverage the drainage and then wonder why there is flooding!!! I am out in the country so all this rain is doing is filling up my pond and well!!!!

Hi KJG I know I feel the same as you. I have not lived with a man for many years either. It is going to be weird for awhile that's for sure lol. Glad I am not the only one. :

Hey, it never shows on ecas in process. Some do get the AOR and some do not. Some get it even after an interview date. It is about 3 weeks to 4 weeks to have file transfered to Havana. Therefore if your 6 weeks is since approval it could only have been in Havana right now as of 3 weeks or 2 weeks only. I have seen it be 2.5 to 3 months but I have seen it also take 5 months and some even pass the DND date. There is no way of knowing
