Just heard back from the docotor who said...well it is my risk to take. That no insurance will cover my if I give birth in while in Cuba and I will be looking at $15,000 bill if I do. She said it is not a probability it is a possibility. She said it is not the flight that is the risk....it is where I will be for 3 days

Super bummed..but I know I will get over it.

wait... so are you going or not now? if doc says its ok then its fine no? you must be super bummed now if you cant go

So. Checked hubby's email. And there was one from Havana
They said they are missing dates on his personal info.

I just checked and the dates/info they were missing were clearly listed as his military service.
So I will email back to them the original, along sign a seperate sheet detailing those dates over to them again
I'm pissed, but at least I know They are workin on the file.

Ok. The email came from the generic embassy email.

Should I reply to that email, or resend it to the case specific email site.
The only email they list is the enquiry-im@gc address.

I would use the case specific one but ensure the email from them is still attached to your reply......Glad you got this today so you have tomorrow to send and be in Havana in Friday......you will probably get a call next week then!!!! Sucks that they don't read or interpet information correctly but yeah...finally contact and you know the file is there!!!!

I copied and pasted their email to my word document with all the full detail of the dates, and also resending the original PDF of schedule A.
Grrrrrr. Could they not look on the next page and see that the dates they were looking for we're right there???? Lol
I'm laughing now but have spent the last 3 hours going over the dates over and over and over and over and over and over ;-)
Just having a Friend check and double check the way they worded the email and my response, once it's done I'll email it tonight.

Take me Sassielassie, I worked in Family Newborn and my husbands aunt is an OBGYN!! We will deliver your baby LOL... all we need is a fake passport to smuggle the baby out of Cuba!!

Welcome to our thread panarama68.......most of the people of this forum are still waiting to hear from Havana....my husband just recently got his visa on Oct 4/12 and we are currently waiting for the PRE so he can leave Cuba.....

Luvcuba has interview on Oct 25th......shuster2210 should be hearing any day now from Havana....

everyone is a bit different here in their circumstances but the process is pretty much the same for everyone....WAIT!!!!

Glad to have you aboard......feel free to ask anything....vent....whatever you need!!!

I can only imagine shuster2210!! At least it's only 1 small detail, it could have been worse. I would email it and take it in if you are in Havana. If they don't confirm they have it before you leave.
