Hi everyone!
I hope everyone's day was good!
I have several questions that I would like to share with you that hopefully you can answer
1) Today my husband went to get all the documents translated in Havana and they told him that nothing needed to be done to the photocopy of the passport. Doesn't one need to translate it and (because it is a photocopy and not the original) also obtain an affidavit from the translator?
no the passport does not need to be translated.......if you submit is ID card that should be translated
2)Regarding the day that I became a resident...I've called immigration to ask but still have my doubts....should I put the date that I was granted my visa at the Immigration office when my family and I went for our interview, or is it the day when I landed in Canada?
the day you landed in Canada
3) My husband did not do the military service but instead he did social service. Do we need to put that under military service??? Or simply answer NONE?
simply answer NONE
4)And finally ( and what a great thing that I have you), in form IMM5669, we don't have enough space for all the information that we need to provide and I know that I can attach a separate sheet of paper, but I wonder, would it be okay to make a note on the printed copy right next to the table clarifying that the information that is missing on the table is on another page?
yes just ensure on the page attached on the right hand corner you put his full name...date of birth and form number.....on the left side of page put "continuation of question #__
I know, I am becoming obsessive about this but I want to avoid delays
I hope that everyone's day today was good. And thank you!
