Our file went very well. Just got called for passport request. 3 months and a few days after reception of SA approval letter. This is if you don't get an interview request.

If you are from Quebec it is alot faster to receive the visa as you are on a different Immigration system than the rest of Canada. If you are not from Quebec than this is very quick.

Besides the marriage certificate what other items need to be translated into English from Spanish and where in PEI or the Maritimes can you have that done?

My husband has a 25 year old daughter who lives with her boyfriend and has just had a baby girl April 9th and he has put her down as single on the form for dependants. Is this the correct way to fill in this form ? I think it should be common law and because she is 25 does she fill in the form ?. Which is correct ?

Hi, I'm new to this forum. I am sponsoring my husband. His medicals were done on March 21, and the now says "In Process" - processing application as of April 4. does anyone have any idea how long that could be?
I love everyone's positive energy on here, it's what you need when you're going through this process

I had friends from Toronto area and just outside use the Mennonites for $10 per page? Quite cheap I hope this helps? I live out West no such luck for me I went to a notary.

Does anyone know the cost of a police record check in Cuba these days? My husbands is over 3 months old. I am hearing $65 and it will take 3 months. Can anyone confirm that please ?

Does anyone know if when the embassy calls and says to be in Havana the following week with passport and new visa pics does it mean he is leaving with a visa? They said nothing of an interview.

Just putting the spousal application together and wondering where I put my husband's daughters information as she is 25 years old is in a common law relationship and has a baby born April 9th 2014. I want to make sure all 3 are on the application. I would like to get this sent off on monday if at all possible.
