Did any one tried getting a police certificate from state of california?
today i received a mail that has a sheet of paper that reads as follow:
" Based upon a fingerprint search of records contained in the bureau of criminal identification and information files, there is no information meeting dissemination criteria pursuant to california law on the above named individual.
this transaction has not been recorded by doj bureau of criminal identification and information, therefore no subsequent arrest information will be provided."

is that what i should be getting back from them?
please advise.

Today, I got a letter from Alberta AINP saying I have been approved for the AINP nomination. This is a copy of the actual letter. Original letter is mailed to my lawer.

Doc req: 12/16

Please, what is you nomination date (i.e. the date on the certificate)?
Also, what date is on the postage stamp (i.e. the date it was mailed)?

It seems everyone who got dcoument requests in Dec have recieved their nomination except me. I sent my documents in 12/16 and I recived a confirmation of receipt.

I hate being the odd one out. I just hate it.

I am not sure if I did receive the file number via mail because I changed my residence and did not inform the Alberta nomination people. So has anyone faced same sort of issue, and can please let me know what can be done now.

your file number should have arrived via email (if you used an email address in the app) -- with email subject "Receipt of Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) Application". Hope you remember which email address you used .

You should let AINP know of your Address change ASAP -- best way to get response is via email - or call them and choose option 4 to talk to some 1 and explain your situation

If you were lucky your nomination could have been issues 09. nommination is only good for 6 months -- be aware of that.

Hi,

Tried calling the hotline number that you have mentioned, but I got the automated system and could not talk to anybody. They give the std automated BS message that they cannot give individual status and it hangs up. Tried to call the person from whom we got the doc request mail too, but went to voicemail. Will update again if I get to talk to a person!
