what happens in case you don't land by the date specified on your visa? do you loose it forever?

if i dont land in canada? will that be a problem? i still need 2 years for us greencard, and i dont want to jeopardize that. will they question why i have immigrant visa?

I am mostly concerned about h1 restamping, will the canadian PR on my passport affect that in anyway? can i restamp the h1b visa eventhough i have canadian PR? will that raise any concerns or risk? will they question why i have that at the american consulate? thanks a lot for your response

call it a good sign :) this what happened to me before as well, and things moved faster afterwards...

I checked the CIC website, and the status shows: A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision. should i receive the passports with visa soon?
