Right. It doesn't matter if it's a deal breaker or not. Remember we do not know what the officer will use to grant the exemption. If the officer pointed it out in the refusal notes, make sure you address it with proof in your next application.
Yes that's what I did

well done. If the officer wrote something as a refusal reason, we just have to address it in the next application without thinking whether it is important/fair or no. Like when my partner's HC was refused, officer wrote that his support letters did not matter because they are from people "new to Canada". In fact, his references were mostly PR and Citizens, but they were not born here.

So in his next application, we only added letters from "white" Canadians with Anglo-saxon and French names. This time it worked.

Guys I received the below email this morning from Niagara fall after sending them mail asking for the status of my application:

Good day,

Thank you for your e-mail. Please note that I have now moved the file to an officer for final review.

We will be in touch should we require anything further.

Take care & stay safe!

***But then I don’t know the particular date when he moved my file for final review

That’s great that they responded to you! Do you have lawyer? Who has sent the previous email asking about your status?
My lawyer sent a couple emails in June and he told me about he has not got respond :(

@Ayanna @Katayoon or someone else, May I send an email asking about my status? I’m worried about weeks are coming, it’s been 2.5 months since we sent all the AIP request.
Thank you ;)

yes my partner sent email to Niagara asking how long final review will take. And they responded that file is still in queue and there is no particular timeframe. I mean you can definitely ask, but their response will likely be very general.
