regarding the CCB I just want to add add something it might help others:

I got my work permit approved in October 2020, and my wife visit visitor extension also
We applied for CCB in November 2020
got reply from them:
Me (dad) not eligible
and wife got letter she is ELIGIBLE (but we have to show income for 2018 and 2019 which was $0)
We got above letter on January 20, 2021

We got AIP Mid December 2020
CoPR last week February 2021

I will update in the group, weather they are paying since 1st day or when

You don't need to book the appointment , you have to take a copy of COPR , they will give you your passport within 30 min , they will get your signature that you have get your passport

They asked fo address update on Feb 2nd and we are still waiting, our lawyer said it is hard to know as it seems that the officer initiated the background check that same day. Niagara falls office. Praying for good news.
