Why would it be a negative sign!
Many applicants wish to be in your place.
But I heard from other members a fast decision could be negative.
Just don't panic 2021 might be your luck
As said in an earlier post I just got my AIP (Stage 1). So wonder how this works as I am currently inside Canada in Vancouver, BC, Canada and applied from Canada. The way I understand it, I will do my updates and send them medical results. Then if everything good, I will get CoPR? Then what? How can I land? Should I do a flagpole?

Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) is that all you need. After getting COPR they ask us to send email along with PR picture and copy of CoPR back to their office. and we got PR card in mail in 15 days.
Moreover with CoPR we made permanent SIN no, health card and applied for CCB.

The average rate for 2020 application 6 to 18 months before Aip or Decision made
processing start for 2020 app rate is 2 months up 6
Base on my experience if they asked you Biometric it’s good sign but you never know

It is the two reason possibilities. the H and C ground is very sensitive and direct concern with the health like kid issue and any person . 2nd when somoni submitted application with sensitive reason 1st time, it was happen 6 years before with us. if the document are strong then it will acceptable otherwise it will be negative. We have been faced same situation.
I don't think so.they started processing my application after one month and it took 34 months to get aip
