Hello everyone,

I have posted on different treads before but I thought I should post my timeline (still waiting) here as well to keep updated. Also got a series of bad consultation and advice so I hope someone can also learn what not to do.

Received eligibility graduate July 2022.
Applied for PGWP August 2022.
PGWP refused January 2023

Reason for refusal was part time study which I had to for medical reasons but my consultant did not upload my documents (if you want details you can click on my profile and view my PGWP tread).

Applied for restoration and reapplied for PGWP in February 2023
I believe in April both got refused as officer maintained intial decision.

Applied for H&C and as my situation aligns in July 2023.

-Established/ties in Canada since 2016 and always with valid status until January 2023.
-Medical condition, I submitted my medical records and letters from 4 of my specialist doctors I see.
-Best interest of kids, I provided documentation of how I have financially supported my mom and siblings over the years.
- Family violence, I submitted proof, including pictures of scars all over my body. submitted my mom’s divorce papers which had more documents (she sadly passed away in March 2023). Submitted my mom’s death certificate and medical records as well.
-I have received 4 really good job offered and those employers are still waiting to hire me if I get my PR and I included those as well.
-unfortunately because of my medical condition (has to do with my vision) I am not able to work due to lack of health coverage and I can’t cover the cost for specialist out of pocket. I would also welcome any advice on how anyone out of status have been able to work.
- I also got my therapy records.

Received biometrics request August 2023
Call immigration tele tracking today and the information I received is that they are processing/verifying my background and no medical and fingerprints required.

I also added my 4 siblings to my application, one is over the age of 25 in Canada with me and 3 are under 20 and out of the country and lawyer advised I add them anyway. These past few months has been the darkest time in my life literally my sight deteriorating by the day and emotionally. I went from working at my dream job to losing everything overnight.

sorry I tried to keep it short and I am always open to insight/suggestions and questions if anyone needs clarification. Sending positive thoughts to everyone.

I also apologize for typos and grammatical errors.

I'm very sorry for your situation. It can take quite some time to get through stage 1 processing of an H&C application and your timelines from that perspective make sense as of now.

It's interesting to me that the lawyer said to include your siblings in the application. Did your lawyer include them as dependents or simply mention them in the application?

Good luck.

Good Morning Guys

Could you please advise if its worth to update NOA for this year while application is still in process.
Yes @Robin220 .. When your file is in process, It is always worth to update any kind of documents that can support your application. If you have reported any kind of income on Your Tax return, It will beneficial for you to Update Your NOA in application. It indicates to officer that You are self supporting yourself.

Thank you, yes they were simply just listed on the application I guess as dependant but she did mention it’s very unlikely they will be granted or along with mine so I know we would have to start a different process for them which I am totally fine with. They all had visitors visas to Canada which expired in 2022. We wanted to mention it because they are all alone back and are at risk of family violence back home so it would not hurt.

Hello everyone , please let me know if anyone have similar experience.

Ircc sent me letter via Canada post on Feb. 29th that I haven’t received yet. I called to Ircc and they said me to wait till April 15th. She said she can not tell me what is in the letter . My ECAS says in process and automated phone line also says we are checking whether you meet the eligibility and nothing required at this time.

I asked the postman today and he said I should have received letter by now or otherwise it could be lost, stolen or damaged by sorting machine.

Do anyone have any idea what could be in the letter?
