Did you request refusal notes to know the exact reasons of refusal.

They probably had issued the refund when they refused your application.
Regarding your reconsideration, just have faith and wait. It’s been only 3 days.

Did you apply by yourself or with a lawyer?
Did they send you the refusal by mail or email?
Which office issued the refusal?

Work Permit Expired - 22nd Oct 2023
Applied for Renewal - 5th Nov 2023
Received letter for Biometric - 18th Nov 2023.

I had done by biometric when we came to Canada in Oct 2019.

Is there any possibility that my H&C Application is approved and therefore I have been asked to do my biometric again.

Please shed some light on this.

That is the standard requirement for renewing your work permit this is not about your h$c application

Hi, they refunded your PR fees not your application fee becaus you paid your PR fees ahead. When you paid both at the same time of your application, they will refund your PR fee if it is negative but if It approve you won't get refund and proceed with your application.

Yes they just started doing that it's happen to me den have been in Canada since 2017 and when I want to renew in 2022 I was ask to do it but now am now a pr holder which I don't need it anymore

They also asked me for the biometric for WP renewal. Mine also still valid. I surprised but maybe it’s a new regulation.
I don’t know if it’s related to the H&C or not
