I applied for my TRP and H&C together.. I got the TRP and OWP after 10 days. But H&C is still in process.

May I know what was your grounds for TRP ?
I also want to know if you have any information about TRP timelines ?
My lawyer said that TRP could take a long time

I had my lawyer done my all application.They applied under expedited category.

hi guys, my HC reconsideration was refused yesterday - they refused to re-open the file. But it's from different officer number not the same one who refused initial application. I will be filing new HC but I was wondering if this is normal different officer to review reconsideration and decide not to re-open.

Normally it goes to the same officer because he already knows your file, but this is prime vacation time plus people retire, leave and get promoted, so perhaps your original guy was not available.

Thank you Katayoon and Tony for your advice and guidance. I will work on new application and in the meantime apply for inland extension as my mom's visa is expiring soon.
