How long will take or how many years you need to accumulate before applying citizenship? Out of status for 6 years and got approved PR under H&C?

I believe you will need to wait three years. I don't think you can count any time pre-PR since you were in Canada without status.

Hey everyone I'm new here, I applied my H&C last
Received January 12 2021
Send Correspondence March 13 2021
In process July 12 2021
Stage one approved on February 23 2022
Medical examination have not sent
Criminality verifications are in process
Security verifications are valid
How long it takes to go on stage 2?
Is the any chance of not approved on stage 2? I'm so stressed

when you get your Aip it says on email stage 2 process proximately 12 months

usually it’s 3 to 12 months as long you send all the documents

Wooow that's so long,I have to wait for months close to the year again. I didn't receive any email my MP contacted then and they send every details to him. I called them yesterday they said they send the email to my lawer, when I call my lawer he said he didn't receive anything

it doesn’t means you have to wait 12 months
3 to 12 months
Could takes 3 4 or 5 months

the more you involve MP or bothering Immigration you will End up delay in process

I guess it's depends on the officer that deal with your application because my friend involved MP and her application took 2 months from there

you’re friend is lying 2 months that’s impossible because background checks Security check and medical check all three done in 2 months lol
All three take at least three months stop lying so much here spread false information
All of us here based on experience

Fully agree with you Ayanna.
I believe involving MP would be beneficial only if you exceeded average processing time.
