Guys can i know how to link my h&c application to my ecas account ?
I know that office received my file according to Fedex but I didn't receive the confirmation from ircc.

i don't have AOR yet so i don't know the application number but i have my ICU number.
may i know if AOR means that the application is complete ?

When you receive your AoR after a few days later you check your status in ecas

I hope everybody in this forum has read this comment from RaiSaab108 : Moral of my story is Never trust lawyers and do your own research and double-check the lawyers whAt they are doing for you.

You are 100% spot on. I can't stress this enough!

To everybody using a new lawyer (including me)

Just because you have a lawyer does not mean sh*t. you have to do MOST of the work yourself. do NOT always trust all they tell you. seek a second opinion from people that have been through the h&c process. Lawyers( good or bad) do NOT give a rat ass about a client application. what is MORE important to them is "money". Win or Loose, they will always get their money off you!

Never depend so much on them. I lost about 10,000 dollars in making this mistake in my first application. when a lawyer tells you something that does not make sense to you, SEEK A SECOND OPINION FROM SOMEONE WHO has BEEN THROUGH THE H&c PROCESS ( FOR EXAMPLE, THIS FORUM HAVE Experienced people that have been through it)

Lastly, ensure you are monitoring and always checking the work they are doing for you. don't trust what they say with their mouth. Insist you want to see evidence of what they have done!

Very expensive I paid more money then anyone in this forum
If someone ask me does it Worth it?
my answer is Hell yeah we make more $100k a year which we can save $30 a year I got the money and the status one the best country

Nothing to share from my side either, 10 months since we got AOR, we are nervous cause some people having 8-10 years in Canada got refused, we have 3 years only, just hope everything can be good in our H&C application

I been here almost four years I got it

i am with you too.
We both paid alot.
But now from 2020 i am little smarter. I foundout legal aid way
Otherwise i paid alot till 2019 from 2011

Exactly that was on my refusal,my lawyer said we will apply JR not to lose the 15 days given to appeal and simultaneously we will apply reconsideration, is that right? i dont know where to get money, to pay the lawyer i am broke. The only thing i have is HOPE. I am so tired and feel drowning with all this

2015 - lost PR due to misrepresentation
2019 - lost federal court appeal
April 2019 - applied HC
July 2019 - applied PRRA to delay deportation
July 2020 - refused HC and PRRA
October 2020 - 2nd HC submitted
February 2021 - 2nd HC refused
April 16, 2021 - 3rd HC submitted
May 2021 - almost got deported but CBSA granted administrative deferral
May 5th, 2021 - AOR
May 7th, 2021 - Biometrics request
May 10th, 2021 - Biometrics done
May 18th, 2021 - AIP and request for police certificate, right of PR fee and financial docs
May 21st, 2021 - all requested documents provided to BRO
May 27th, 2021 - medicals requested for him and all non-accompanying kids abroad
June 4th, 2021 - medicals completed

yes you have to let them know she approved first stage this is how she gets open work permit and also she gets her temporary residency status

My mom got AOPR and biometric request on same day.
I needs to apply her MSP asap since she is getting worse for health wise.
Can you let me know if I can apply her work permit now or I need to wait for AIP.
If her work permit approved then I can apply her medical care asap.
Please let me know if you have any idea.
That would be really helpful and appreciated.

hi, do you think that scanned signature can cause a problem in my applicaiton ?
because my husband lives abroad and he should declare his family and his antecedents even if he is not an applicant so he sent me this forms (photocopies) with scanned signatures.

What form?Because in my case i dont need any signature from outside. Yes my son is included as my dependent but in generic form i guess signature is only for those who is here inside Canada, i dont know lets wait for a better answer from others.

Yes, maybe because your son is minor so he don't need do declare this informations

I applied her application in April 2021 and got AOR last week.
