I went to my home country on mat leave and my work permit expired while on matleave. I had already lived in Canada on a temporary permit for 6 years by then ,yet because my permit expired, they didn't pay anything. If you don't have a status in Canada, you won't get any payments. I have written emails talked to the supervisors and everyone at CCB call centre. They said they can only pay if the parent has a status. They paid for the time I had status and also started paying as soon as I got my status approved again. Status= temporary residence permit.I just talked with an agent and seems like they already processed my CCB application.
They will just recognize me money from the day I became Permanent Resident and not retroactive payment... that sucks!

Hi Guys,
i have hearing impairments, because of that I am not able to get any skilled job and I can’t work in restaurant or any customer service field. A lawyer advised me for H&C,

Hello Blac Kelly. Yes, I just received my medical form today and I've gone to the panel
physician for my medical exam. IRCC is going to ask the refugee board to cancel the federal appeal. Yes, I'm still using my lawyer because I paid for this service. The brown paper (IFHP) covers the cost of the medical examination.
