Well, not quite...I got my AIP in 23 of July 2024, and before that until now....I have the same message, we are reviewing your elegebilit...etc, it never changed.
Did you carefully read what I have said. Again, if automated phone system states we are processing your background check, the application is in process and assigned to officer, and one can expect stage 1 result within 3 months typically. In your case, because you have AIP, next update that you will look for is if you call and automated phone message immediately transfer you to agent, that means final decision has been made which is eCOPR.

"we are processing your background check" is the message in question. How can an application not be in process if it background is in process? It means an officer opened it and actively sent it to be check up on.

As if the CBSA is going to even takeit into consideration? Even if you have a user’s IP address, its approximate location and the cbsa wont be knocking on doors or contacting shaw for user identity.

Many here don't understand just how little protection they have in terms of privacy. CSIS and CBSA both process this data when someone's is enrolled in the immigration progress - they don't have to knock doors when they've built-in integrations. What that individual did was extremely concerning. Even if our reports do nothing, they significantly raise the bar of scrutiny on these individuals during the processing.

I've been talking to MPs from a couple months sharing direct evidences now. If it does nothing immediately, it will do something in the long-term to fix the issues. It is what we can do as a Canadian at the end of the day vs simply spectating.

same here, what did you submit in regard this request letter ?
I wrote a letter explaining that I am not working because of the work permit expiry and that I am living with my family. I also got a letter of support from my parent certifying that they are responsible for my basic needs and everything else that is required, and I also attached her proof of income.

1. Given current proposed changes no she would not qualify to claim asylum
2. The ability to sustain yourself financially is a consideration in many H&C applications. India is a very large country so tough to show there is no safe area in all of India. One of the reasons she should be at least establishing child support. Realistically most H&C takes years to process so she needs a plan to be able to be able to survive in Canada.
3. She can try. Depends on many things like province. How she pays for a layer will not impact her case.
Thanks!!

Include proof of savings, explain that you have been living with family so have been able to reduce costs, explain that your WP expired and that is the only reason you stopped working, include proof of previous employment in Canada and the ability to financially support yourself when you had a valid WP, include proof of applying for a new WP and your plan to seek employment or any employment you have secured that you will start once the WP is approved and finally once employed after you receive your WP update your file with proof of employment details.
thanks this is what I thought too. Majority of this information was already in my long letter of explanation so I wondered if they wanted to see something else. I used this info plus more to show my establishment in Canada.

Why IRCC really wants is for you to show that you will not become dependent on the state for your financial survival and that you will be a net financial benefit to Canada.

Hello
Can the spouse of a refugee claimant come to Canada if he applies for a work perish LMIA job offer?

They can certainly try but chance of approval is very low because there will be concerns they will either arrive and also claim asylum and that they have no intention of returning home.

Sorry, I don’t think that’s how it works. The processing time shown at the time you apply is what generally applies to your application. Since processing times keep changing, the new timelines don’t usually affect applications that were already submitted.
That not true. I had asked the agent and they said it the current time on all applications.
