Does this mean it will require more time? @Victoria-20241The "triage discrimination" marker is part of the case categorization process and does not automatically mean anything negative. It only reflects that the case has some characteristic that requires specific analysis and “more time for analysis”. Many cases have terms related to screening in the notes, such as "risk", "special review", or "discrimination", depending on the analysis that the officers are conducting.
It truly means nothing. It is an internal administration issue.Does this mean it will require more time? @Victoria-20241
Some fee you need pay, maybe the PR fee. What does cost recovery outstanding mean on my H and C application’s GCMS notes?
Sometimes, but the process still is 21 months.Does this mean it will require more time? @Victoria-20241
But I have already paid the RPRF fees and the other fees, not sure what this cost recovery is….Some fee you need pay, maybe the PR fee.
Call IRCC and check what cost left to be paidBut I have already paid the RPRF fees and the other fees, not sure what this cost recovery is….
Will do that, thanks for your advise!!Call IRCC and check what cost left to be paid
I agree with you, but there were two issues to consider: 1) I hoped that my husband or I would get a suitable job, as our back home degrees were evaluated as the same standard Canadian degrees, and we have good experience working in multinationals. The problem is we are not getting suitable jobs in Quebec. So I cannot apply for the super visa. 2) My mother could go back to our country, but in the meantime (August 2024), the government changed due to an uprising, and the political situation, including law and order, is very volatile there, especially for the minorities. Considering that, I cannot let my old and weak mother go there and stay alone. The best option would have been for her to remain in her home country and waiting until you qualified for a supervisa. The fact that you are relatively new immigrants would mean that you knew your mother didn’t qualify for sponsorship yet still immigrated. Tough to see how IRCC is going to deal with all these parents applying for H&C when there is a process for sponsorship parents & gparent a which is well publicized and not guaranteed.
If you can prove that she fears for her life and will be persecuted an asylum claim is an option but a risky option unless she has concrete proof of fear of persecution. How old is your mother? Is she able to care for herself (basic cooking, hygiene , dressing herself, etc.)? Having your mother move with you to Canada was not a great idea because it shows that you always intended for her to move with you which was not part of the PR approval and this was not a change in circumstance. The fact that you don’t even meet LICO (which is already low given cost of living) may be problematic for an H&C case since the ability to financially support yourself without government support is often a factor in most H&C applications. Good chance she will likely fall out of status during a Quebec H&C application which is also problematic. There are no clear solutions that don’t have significant downside risk. Would gather all the evidence you have and consult an immigration lawyer who can evaluate your case and go through all the potential options and risks.I agree with you, but there were two issues to consider: 1) I hoped that my husband or I would get a suitable job, as our back home degrees were evaluated as the same standard Canadian degrees, and we have good experience working in multinationals.
