Hi everyone
I have applied for H&c application on November 2022
Got AOR in Feb 2023 but since then no update till now.
My case is based on hardship. I am 24 years old my spouse passed away in July 2022. I am in canada from last 6 years.
My lawyer suggested me to go to mp office. Does that help in fastening the process
I applied nov 2022 AOR january 2023, i'm still waiting.. hope i will get my AIP and PR soon

Usually it does help - but at the moment it looks like even MP offices are taking longer than usual due to the number of backlogs.
Did you request GCMS notes? That can trigger movement as well... at this point it looks like its common to be over 22 months without AIP.

Hey Guys

I am getting Calls from Unknown number since yesterday,do you think this can be from IRCC?
Why didn't you pick up the calls and listen to what the person wanted to say? And if is not what you are expecting then you can hang up the call. My advice.

Can anyone advise me please..
I’ve been out of status since 2017, I’ve been working and earning payments via e-transfer, it’s so hard to be out of status & I had no option but to work to stay afloat .
I want to file my taxes, eventually if I get PR I want to apply for citizenship after, and they’ll require tax information. How do I file my taxes? Has anyone had the same situation, my SIN expired when I lost my status.

Have you ever filed taxes when your SIN was not expired? You can still file taxes even with expired SIN. Just visit any H&R block or any tax specialist and they will sort out this for you.
