Anyone here ordered notes for a second time?

Since I sent out additional documents as required, I've not received any reply. It's been 5 weeks.

I received my GCMS a couple of day after the VO asked for more documents.

Do you think it's too early to order a new one? Will there be any change at all?
I'm just curious to see the officer's notes on the second last page, after reviewing the required documents I sent. But at the same time I'm not sure if they have reviewed my new additional documents yet.

Ankara asked for additional documents on October 12.
Sent what they ask for on October 19.
Received an e-mail on October 22 saying that it's added to my file.

Received GCMS on October 23.

Now thinking about ordering a new one, is it early, or?

Erina joon, i have seen people on this forum that order their notes every month.. its only the fee and at least you can see that if they have gotten your documents and you could also compare your notes with the notes from oct 23rd...

good luck :)

does anyone here know what is the difference between due date and valid date on the gcms notes??? any help will be much appreciated....thnx

if it says required...does that mean it has to be redone???? my husbands medical expired in july but we havent received any correspondance from the visa office...and the further in the notes it says that the medical is valid till 2013...so confused...

EDE = "Excessive Demand Exempt"

It relates to the type of medical examination that you must have.

Due date usually means when CIC is supposed to take some action, valid date would indicate when something expires. That's my interpretation of these terms, but others may have additional insight.

Hi computergeek:

I read on another site and found that an applicant also choose to send the "Criminality Check" himself/herself in later stage of application been already sent to VO. Whose Criminality Check needs to be done? For the Applicant (from her/his own country) or for the Sponsor? or both is done eventually?

Criminal checks are normally only required for the applicant. Under some circumstances they may be required for the sponsor (if there is a name/DOB match for someone similar with a criminal conviction that would bar sponsorship - in that case they'd need a fingerprint check to ensure the actual sponsor wasn't disqualified).

The decision on whether or not to submit PCCs up front is based upon the region specific rules - you should refer to the instructions covering the visa office examining the applicant.

Much thanks computergeek:

If Criminality Checks require for SPONSOR, would that not be asked at the first stage, I mean from CPC-Mississauga? or it could be asked from VO too ? Thanks once again.

Criminality checks may be done at any point in time and I have heard of a VO checking the sponsor but it is unusual. For example, an approved sponsor arrested for domestic abuse after stage 1 could still be disqualified.

Thanks again. In the event of abuse, it makes complete sense to me.

I sent you a link to read but it is not shown in the port! I am surprised.

My partner's due date for medicals is June 2013, the exact same day my sponsorship was approved and sent to Ankara. Does this mean they have extended his medicals?

But again a couple of line under the due date it says valid until: 1/1/2013
