Hello

What are the groceries chain that will deliver me food to my air bnb address.

Check instacart if they serve in your area. You can also check Walmart in your city if they provide delivery. In case you are based out of a smaller city then there must be some local grocery store who will definitely provide you with home delivery.

Assuming you are in Ontario, Sobeys does deliver (through its Voila service) as does Longos (through its Grocery Gateway service). Beyond that, you'll need to use the Isntacart or Uber Eats apps for groceries deliveries.

Depends on the store / service. Generally speaking, you pay in advance and not on delivery. There are other online ways to pay (etransfer, paypal, etc.).

I don't know about toronto. But in Vancouver, many stores stop taking cash during COVID.
You may want to look into starting a bank account and setup credit/debit card once you are done with your quarantine.

Really? I can still pay with cash in many stores across Vancouver.

I guess different area. I personally want avoid handling cash as much as I can.

In this case, I should have said some stores. Not many.

We've used Cornershop (great UX) a few dozen times. Great service, no hastles.
Regarding the card situation - they do accept Paypal (setup an account on paypal, feed it via your existing (home country) cards, banks (PAD takes 2-3 days))

++ they do accept debit cards for sure.

I think that is the issue. you can't set up a bank account remotely and if you are quarantined, you will have to rely on either your non-Canadian bank account (with overseas payment penalties) or cash

I think paypal would be a good idea in this case. Most delivery service do not take cash.

but even on paypal it is still an overseas transaction. however cash relies on you having hit the ATM big time before going into quarantine.

Also delivery drivers normally expect a tip (unless you are using Uber then you can tip electronically)

Noop. Nowadays they can get tip though the App for whatever delivery service it is.
It's no contact drop off delivery for most cases. Very few expect face to face and cash tip. (At least from the delivery that I used so far)
