Today I got the Oath email scheduled on May 16 2024, even though my LPP still in progress on the tracker LMAO !

Another grant DF case closed - Application submitted in June-23 and was waiting for LPP after having interview in December. Took oath this week and got the citizenship certificate as well.

Have you been asked to submit your fingerprints before? If yes, and it has been over a year, then I believe it’s bending your criminality check and you will be asked to resubmit a new set of fingerprints.

Hi Guys, I got my routine update from my MP office. IRCC finally admitted that they're running additional background checks and no deadlines are provided. This means they can run background checks anytime during application process as long as Oath has not changed to In Progress.

I got the same exact update from my MP. Everything in my tracker is completed except for Oath and it’s been 6 months without any updates. I’m not a protected person or refugee.
