Hi Guys, I got my routine update from my MP office. IRCC finally admitted that they're running additional background checks and no deadlines are provided. This means they can run background checks anytime during application process as long as Oath has not changed to In Progress.

The file is moving from the junior officer to senior officer for making final decisions.

This is to give you guys hope. I was DF too, and have PROHIBITION in progress since DEC, 2023. today finally, my tracker is updated- PROHIBITION turned to completed since Dec,. I have read a lot that prohibition takes time and l was worried. Hope to get oat date soon. Goodluck everyone.

unfortunately it can be weeks or months. i been waiting since 7 months after lpp got completed.

Finally, I am a step closer to becoming a citizen. I have been waiting sing 6th September 2023 after BG complete. Today the LPP got completed. IRCC requested ICES (my travel history) from CBSA on 03/01/2024 and almost exactly after four months, LPP got completed.

Any idea how long does it take to get the Oath Invitation from Scarborough as I am travelling early next month.
