bro i didn't get any call from embassy regarding my deffered letter.but college told me to present there after 15 days from college started.but i didnt get any decision from CIC..so i requested for differed letter from college and submitted that to VFS.

i got visa too..

my course is for 2 yrs..but it is stamped only until the validity of my passport ..smart CHC is..lol

but i m happy cos my next passport will be from Indian Embassy in Canada.. ;D

Its not smart but more trouble cause you need to renew passport there and also need to show funds again as you showed during applying for study permit visa!

my passport validity and visa stamp is till nov 2015..infact, the visa is set to the exact date of passport expiry..

but my LOI says till March 2016..

renewing passport is not a big issue..

I know that renewing passport is easy but renewing Study permit is kinda troublesome. Because you need to submit all those documents again with proof of sufficient funds etc..

yeah..but if my LOI says till March 2016, it should be good enough to get a stamp on my new passport..and also i should wait to see wt the study permit at Port of Entry says..

Are you referring TRV as Visa?

Then, alwyas the expiry date for Study permit and TRV will be same.
