All these information was very helpful. We got our passports stamped 2 weeks ago too and plan to land in March 2018!!

Hi, may i ask if Canadian Immigration officers would still check pre-departure requirements from your home country? Eg. for philippines - PDOS.

PDOS is required for Filipinos. Even the local authorities at the Manila International Airport MIA (aka Ninoy Aquino International Airport) allegedly checks this and some families have missed their flight because of lack of the PDOS "sticker".
