I don’t think your nationality is important if you are holding RTD.
For example I don’t need visa for Indonesia with my national passport but because of I am holding rtd I need to get visa.
I need visa for Germany and Italy with my national passport but I can travel without visa bcz of I have Canadian rtd.
Whenever I emailed to the consulates they don’t ask my nationality. They just answered questions based on Canadian refugee travel document.
