Last 12 Months
X % of cases were completed within X months or less Total # of Cases
20 % 50 % 80%
22 25 29 22,963
looking at the MI-1 data for all VO's CIC issued 22963 ( Cases ) Visas thats quite good number, and they will issue Visas to all MI-1 applicants by end of 2013 that for sure

DS
Why end of 2013. When the approval rate is just 27% it should be much earlier.

i was goin through the spreadsheet and tried to figure out the reason of low approval rate for MI3. more than 3000 applications were refused at CIO stage. does it mean tht these applications had the wrong Visa Office mentioned on it. can someone shed some light on this:)

Hi dskairon and others,

i just received my GCMS notes. From notes its confirmed that my file is transferred from Buffalo to CPP Ottawa. But still there is no progress. Every thing is as "Not Started" status.
From the data you posted any guess when they will start processing my file.
you can find my time line on left. I am FSW1 - MI2 applicant. My current online E-case Status is RBVO since June 2011.

Really appreciate your feedbacks.

Thanks,
Andy

Dear Andy

Its MI2 and from data its clear that they are still processing MI2 and MI3 files and your files deems to be in process, don't worry we are all on the same boat and CIC seems to be aware of our concerns that's way they first selected and processed all backlog files i.e. MI1( as the documents were sent later not with the initial application, that is the reason for high rejection rate).

I am quite sure that all the MI1, MI2 and MI3 files will be processed by end of 2013( by end means only those files with some pending requirements will be left for the last stage)

Dear All

I assure all of fellow members of this forum, that its going to be like a grand "Marriage Party" where all arrangements are done to please whole crowd in a single day. Here its visible from data that they are preparing files and completing formalities like MR, BGC etc. to issue bulk visas. We will be getting Visas in 2013 first Q1 as they have opened the "VISA FLOOD GATES".

Its also evident from data that they have not accepted any applications in last 9 months, how CIC will complete its visa targets for 2013. The new applications will also be pouring in by end of JAN 13 and will have to wait for 6 months for normal course like Selection, MR, BGC etc.

DS: when you say MI1 as being included in the processing by end of 2013, does that mean these are applications filed pre-February 27, 2008? In short, does MI1 mean those applicants who filed their applications prior to February 27, 2008?
