Dear All

I assure all of fellow members of this forum, that its going to be like a grand "Marriage Party" where all arrangements are done to please whole crowd in a single day. Here its visible from data that they are preparing files and completing formalities like MR, BGC etc. to issue bulk visas. We will be getting Visas in 2013 first Q1 as they have opened the "VISA FLOOD GATES".

Its also evident from data that they have not accepted any applications in last 9 months, how CIC will complete its visa targets for 2013. The new applications will also be pouring in by end of JAN 13 and will have to wait for 6 months for normal course like Selection, MR, BGC etc.

DS: when you say MI1 as being included in the processing by end of 2013, does that mean these are applications filed pre-February 27, 2008? In short, does MI1 mean those applicants who filed their applications prior to February 27, 2008?
MI1 means applications received from Feb 27, 2008 to Jun 25, 2010

Total applications received under all MIs are 65400 (persons)
Total finalized 37002 (persons including withdrawals )
balance should be 28398
But as per inventory report for the same period
total pending in all MIs are 18360 (persons) where the other almost 10000 gone, can't
understand.

Dear

Don't analyse the data for persons as they are according to the applicants family size, further acceptance rate of applications in MI1 is very low. So many applications have been rejected at initial review stage. Some may have been rejected due to Job Duty Mismatch, Verification Stage, Back Ground Checks and Some on Medical Grounds. Some of applicants I personally know have withdrawn their applications as they have either moved to US, Australia or have changed their future plans

So in process with a date means verification stage, background checks have been cleared and only medical stage is left ? trying to be positive

no

only selection decision and some checks like employment verification(past), education verifications etc to access that you are eligible as per points claimed by you BGC will commence after MR

I have in process from 2008, i recieved caipnotes twice but no major chnages had taken place, the only points i was given was for age so i dont know what to make of that. Im just waiting hopelessly for MR

Are you sure employment verification will start after sending MR? You mean they may call the employer at this stage?

Dear

In most of cases that happens before MR there is little chance of verification from employer but security check and background check will commence and they may verify certain aspects from your employer but not job duty etc. that stage you have already crossed

DS

Wanted to share one info I came across. I was going thru the thread of 2013 FSWC wannabe applicants. Some of them have written that next year, every visa office will also have application quota. In MI-2 and MI-3 more than 50% of applications have gone from India and Pakistan and since there is first come first serve basis, people from other countries could not get thru because of the application CAP.

In order to have an even distribution, within the overall cap of applications, every VISA office will also have a cap. Does anyone else out here have any idea about the same?

If that happens, we shall have the advantage. It is because of large number of pending applications from MI-2 and MI-3 from NDVO that we are at a loss right now

Thank you for ur reply DS! You analysis regarding MI1 cases sounds very much logical and already one applicant from S'pore visa office got reply in response of CSI that he has been sent medical forms :)

For that, you need to apply CAIPS. It will give you idea about what has happened so far on your file and what is next BF'D
