Are you a single applicant? If your Pr application is october 2011 then maybe your fitst aproval is on october this yr..this is just based on my application and some 2011 single applicants too..im june 2011 applicant,i received my first aproval june 2013.i cant wait for the appointment letter coz im goin out for a vacation,(still inside canada) so i called cic and the agent said in 3 months (septmber) is my interview and the letter will be send through regular mail only.you can also check your application status online.
