Hi godbless me,im done with the interview this mornin.it took 1:30mns only..the immgration officers are very nice and friendly.yah,just only simple questions..i can apply for citizenship after 2 yrs instead of 3 yrs coz they gave me 1 yr credit.hehe..its worth it! God is good!

I just received my interview letter this morning and my interview is on july 29..im in vancouver too.

If you are applying for trv or travel documents,you may submit your original passports but if you are applying for pr,i think you only need to submit photocopy.(corect me if im wrong).better to call cic.

Why not? I dnt see any thing wrong.Your open work permit expire on 2015..just make sure to comeback before october and if your already on vacation always check your application status online.Still the decision is yours.

Are you a single applicant? If your Pr application is october 2011 then maybe your fitst aproval is on october this yr..this is just based on my application and some 2011 single applicants too..im june 2011 applicant,i received my first aproval june 2013.i cant wait for the appointment letter...

Seriously? Why do you need to take medical if your a single applicant and did you include your family in your application? I havent received a letter yet.i hope this week coz i already booked my flight to Toronto.i let you know if ever i received a letter from cic.i hope they just made a mistake...

I just received a letter from cic that my application for permanent resident under live in caregiver class has been completed and they will going to contact me abt my appointment..God is really good.I've been waiting this coz i havent seen my family back home for morethan 4yrs..soo happy ...

Monday to friday except statutory holidays...its good friday today.
