Hello everyone, We got PPR early this week. My husband will be submitting his passport to a visa center early next week but I was just wondering if the strike will cause delays in them stamping and returning his passport. He will be submitting to the visa center in Ethiopia and I believe they send the passport to Nairobi, Kenya.

VO outside of Canada is not affected by the strike.

Visa application centers outside canada are not affected.

Visa application centers mean VAC/VFS, not the visa offices.

But the visa offices outside Canada are also not affected by the strike.

mine also changed to background check in progress from april 19th!! i’m not sure if i should be happy or worried lol like is it a glitch? i guess we’ll never know but i hope it’s REAL.
