Anyone receive a tracker update on Friday?

I got an updated in tracker today since in the security Jan 17. I ordered the ATIP in Oct 18, not sure they are relevant or not.
Anyone had this kind of update before, thank you

I don't think the tracker gets updated based on ATIP file requests. An officer has most likely been working on your file recently. Did you receive your notes?

Thank you, hope someone is working on it. Also I found that date updated in the App but no date updated in the history under the Console.
No, havenot received the note yet, I ordered it on Oct 18, i saw someone said it will take 5-8 weeks in here.

I don't think the tracker gets updated based on ATIP file requests. An officer has most likely been working on your file recently. Did you receive your notes?

If you’ve ordered IRCC Notes, the tracker updates when they’re exported. CSIS/CBSA Notes don’t trigger updates anywhere.

Specially IRCC Notes can trigger an update in the Tracker. You will see the ‘Date Generated’ in the Notes as the date of the Tracker update.

P.S. I would recommend ordering CBSA notes in the future, even if you’re not under SS, as they conceal less information compared to IRCC Notes.

yes, u r right, after i got the note from IRCC, will order the note from CBSA

true, sometimes gcms notes do trigger a tracker update but I've had plenty of notes from ircc that did not generate any tracker response

Hi All,

Here is my timeline, and I have been stuck in comprehensive security check since May. I have contacted MP and was told everything has passed except for security, which has no concrete timeline. Those who enter c-check around the same time can compare.

Program: inland family sponsorship
2023-08 Submission
2023-09 AOR
2023-10 Biometrics & Medical
2024-05 ADR request for CV & comprehensive security
2024-10 Biometrics expired (since I am inland I don't need another medical exam apparently)

I have been in Canada for 10 years as international students, and I don't really understand the reasons behind this comprehensive security check. Fingers crossed that my long stay in Canada could expedite the security check.

Not if you are under comprehensive Security screening. MPs cannot help you in this case.
