I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same issue. Got my CBSA notes today and my status shows the same "Received by CBSA" and it hasn't changed for 7 months. Is it realistic for them to verify everything in just 2 months, considering that comprehensive security screening is supposed to take from 9 to 18 months? however, my CSIS notes says "in progress". SS started: 2024-04-22.

I requested them in August and received in November.

I applied for the CSIS notes on September 5th so hopefully I'll get those soon. In the tracker, the background verification was changed to "In Progress" in February so it's already been 9 months for me. I have no military experience, government jobs and have minimal travel history. So, I don't think they get it done within 9 months even for very simple cases.

On my GCMS notes it went from "In progress by CBSA" to "received by CBSA". Not sure what it means tho

I got an updated in tracker today since in the security Jan 17. I ordered the ATIP in Oct 18, not sure they are relevant or not.
Anyone had this kind of update before, thank you

Note received, request date is Nov 7, tracker updated Nov 8, it seems request trigger the update.
Note shows security in progress by CBSA, others all passed or completed.
