Hi all,

My name is Shawaiz and I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba

I have applied for PR- Non Express on Oct 2023

Medical and Biometrics was done on Feb 2024

Since It had been one year since my application had been filed, I approached my MP. I was informed that my application is in security check.

I want to know who else is in the same timeline and while reading over the thread . I came across CSIS notes. I want to know what is that and how can i apply for that?

Any guides and advice is appreciated
Thank you

Fair. And it depends on the quantity of checks, as every case is individual. Somewhere they need to check and request more data, somewhere less.
I have a friend had been waiting 22 months for SS, so really donot know how the CBSA doing their jobs.
I was wondering inland applicant maybe faster than outland.

If u under SS, like most of us here, at least over a year. I donot think CBSA or CSIS notes can help a lot

What does it mean when your background status changes from not applicable to we are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need something.

I have stuck in security screening and in sept got ADR for PCC and Schedule A.

Background check status changed from not applicable to we are processing your background check. I was asked to provide PCC and Schedule A for myself and also my spouse background check is completed. Further, I have been in security screening for 4 years, so now in this context what would this change in status would mean ?
