Yes, that's for eqrkim that has military bkg as well...I'm not sure why the province would take that long to give any information for CIC, my guess is that another agency or 3rd party is taking a long time.

I have compulsory military service (just for 1 month, basic training) and 9 years service at a public university where I had formal status of a public servant. That's it. Nothing any suspicious or uncommon job/post/activity. Quite ordinary and normal CV!
I think CIC over-exaggerates with this security investigations. I mean they can get the necessary info in hours if not in minutes when it is about a concrete security issue. Even on the border control. Bad guys don't try to immigrate to a country with their families. They use fake IS's and come as tourists etc. What CIC is doing is simply irrational. It is a process of humiliation and alienation of people who intend to spend their entire life in Canada because they like this country and its society. In my case I brought my both children to this county and trusted Canada their future, guys! And I am sick of this degradation. You can't deal with honest people who are paying taxes and contributing your country like this!
I spent 15 years in Germany (bachelor-master-PhD + work experience). I was thinking German bureaucracy is a tough one towards foreigners. I am so sorry, I had no idea! German bureaucracy was way better in terms of transparency, speed and accountability. CIC is making Canada look bad! And I guess ordinary Canadians think everybody comes here easily! And Canada has this image of immigration-friendly bureaucracy. Country and society is definitely very welcoming and friendly. But not CIC, guys! Not CIC!

When do you see the PV2 security outstanding classification on your GCMS notes?

I didn't see this on my first set, but I'm about to get my second set...

Hi Guys,
My first notes from september 2016 have PV2 and PNP secure outstanding but my second notes from March have the group name changed to PNP. Any idea what does it indicate?
We are waiting for 12 months spouse has experience with gov

I would say it's a good sign, but please have in mind this is just a guess. A friend of mine had this pattern and he received the PPR few weeks ago, right before his BOWP was approved. His VISA was about to expire in may, his AOR was Aug2016, he was on the PNP secure outstanding group. He applied for BOWP in February and it was approved in the first week of april. 2 days later, PPR, so he could not ask for the reimbursment of his BOWP application. Of course, after PPR, who cares...

I guess we can assume that for PNP secure outstanding group it is going to take 6.5-7 months at best case. I will be getting my 2nd GCMS note first of May. Lets see what is in there.

To be honest I had no idea about the PNP secure outstanding issue and went through both my notes after reading on the group.
We have been constantly told that our security is pending and there is no definite timeline for that.

After 1 year the CC can raise a request to CIC just to ask whats going on. We did that last week and again got the same response that our security is taking longer than usual.

I think for inland PNPs in Secure Outstanding category the reasonable processing finalization might be 7 - 7,5 months. Accordingly I am waiting for PPR between 10 May - 24 May.
I hope we all will get it much faster than 7 months though.
Good luck for all guys.

What's your country of origin buddy?

That's sad. Which country you are from. Did you serve for the govt or military?

Please give some info. Your info will help us to understand the pattern (if there is any!).

No group name or group number on my first page, however, the note on the last page shows I'm in PNP catagory and the case is ready to be finalized. I'm from China, not in military or public service.

Your case abandons the entire theory of secure outstanding explanation of delayed PNP-inland applications. It is quite remarkable.
