I thought because atip is an application itself that I was to fill out section A, and my spouse does B...

I thought because I am the Canadian citizen, I fill out A and B is filled out by my wife. But who knows?

At least I'm not the only one! It doesn't make any sense but I guess I'll have to do it.

What I don't like and notice is that they wait until the 30 days to send you an e-mail that you filled it out incorrectly thus having to wait even longer.

But according to the GCMS notes it takes them 2 weeks from request to pull up your GCMS notes.

Yeah it is quite annoying, I sent the request on the 27th, they got it on the 29th and they emailed today.
It is quite a joke, I'm sure I filled it in properly. I filled it in the way other people here have done it.
I needed the notes, my wife has her interview this week. However, I'm sure we will be fine without them.

Although you will be fine, it is better to know the reason for flagging you so you can adequately respond.

Same situation for us. Ordered notes on August 17, sent in "proper" consent form on September 13. Normally, would not bother emailing them but politely asked them to expedite request cause of upcoming interview.

They partially responded to my original request (both Sponsor App and PR App) with "No you filled the form out wrong, please resubmit", but an hour later, sent me the Sponsor App details, with my wife's details (2 pages) redacted within an hour of the previous email. I sent the form the next day, and nothing.

So I will follow up monday to ask about it... they did generate the notes long ago, so I will also ask them to make them as current as possible and regenerate as possible...

Yes, of course I do want to see the notes. In their email for the interview they wanted more communication proofs, which we are supplying, plus a number of other solid proofs of our relationship.
I seriously doubt I will get the notes before Wednesday.

Nyet. This is no joke. We have to go to interview this week. I'm confident in my wife's ability and I'm sure she will be fine. I have prepared her to the best of my ability. I would like to know why we are going to interview, but it's becoming clear that I won't get the notes in time

Did you try and track your notes through tracking number. I wonder now as they didn't send notes through email, but instead upload a copy there for me to either download or send copy through email on my own.

I just downloaded for myself which I ordered on Aug 22 and sadden to see 'Security' and 'Criminality' not started and moreover most of the updates in my file were of March and April. Only positive is that I won't be interviewed as there is no sign of suspicion found by Lead Officer related to marriage and it's straight case.

Now, desperately looking for background check to be started. Fingers crossed !
