this is the cooment in notes " Docs on file and notes below reviewed . Sponsor info including employment letter reviewed . Interview to be scheduled "

any idea ? why they reviwe employment letter after sponser is approved for elegibilty ?
it means after reviewing all those docs no they need to schedule interview. after review VO has to decide about waiver of interview.

If you check the February Outland thread there is someone who already has DM. This is how it should be across the board for all VO's.

The Government says family reunification is a priority, well, then prove it. Adding a few more case workers and upping the planned intake is good and all, but I want to see real change in how these applications are processed. It's not rocket science to look at an application and know the couple is genuine. Even if it isn't, I think they should admit everyone who passes medical, security, and criminality and let the undertaking and condition 51 sort them out. I would rather see 0% of genuine couples denied than they maybe stop some non-genuine couples from getting the visa and making false determinations and having even a small percentage of real relationships forced to appeal.

In regards the February applicant who already has DM , it looks like he/she's an Aussie , that's not strange and prove with no doubt that Canada Immigration system is bias , racist and discriminatory , they of course approve U.S British , French and Aussie Applicants very fast . probably they need to make sure the rest of us are not human flesh eaters .

Hi guys,

I've now received AOR2 for a little over week now and would like to order GCMS notes to see what the initial officer at CPC-M had to say about my file.

I have some rudimentary questions about the online process of ordering notes.
1) On the first page, it asks *Are you requesting information on your own behalf? ---- I'm assuming yes since I'm the sponsor.
2) On the next page, it asks *Requesting information for ----- should I put in my name or my spouse's name?
3) On the same page, it asks *What type of record would you like to request? ----- I checked "Family class, Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada Class or Refugee Sponsorship" and the next one is *Specify the type of file you are requesting: ----- I have the option of sponsor's or immigrant's file. Since my spouse and I share the same application file number, does it matter which one I pick?

Thank you thank you thank you!

1. No, you are requesting on behalf of the PA.
2. Your spouse.
3. Yes, if your spouse is in Canada. The immigrant file.

You must also include the consent form.

Thanks so much ImABule!

For #3, no my spouse is not in Canada. Should I pick "Permanent Residence" instead then?
I'm confused about the "Family class, Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada Class or Refugee Sponsorship" option - whether it refers to all IN-CANADA classes - or - Family class as a big overall category (which would include outland), plus spouse/common-law in Canada.

I'm guessing the interpretation is that it's an all-encompassing IN-CANADA class, which means my option should be "Permanent Residence"?

The in Canada is inland. You want to choose the permanent residence file.

For the consent form your spouse needs to enter her information in section A and sign it, and then add your information in section C and then choose email or regular mail. I recommend email. Then scan it and send it to you and you upload it with the request for the notes.

Hope that helps.

No worries - I jumped the gum and did that too.

Pretty sure it doesn't matter since we've put in the UCI and file number.

But I do still suspect that the "Family class, Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada Class or Refugee Sponsorship" is an option that involves three categories:
1. Family class
2. Spouse/common-law in canada
3. Refugee

Oh the mystery with all CIC matters 8) 8)

Your notes look really good! Ours also has the b.f. as well, which possibly means bonafide. The notes show that the VO officer believes your relationship is genuine and assigns to Mississauga officer for final review. Congratulations!
