GCMS NOTES WELL EXPLAINED HAS NEVER BEFORE UNTIL NOW

Although you asked IamABule, I would like to share my info:

My notes took 33 day to come. But it was actually generated one day after my request. They must have been using my notes to play paper plane for the whole month .

The initial comment from CPC Mississauga, on Nov 20 (3 days before I received SA) is as follow:

- Sponsor Eligibility Decision: Passed.
- GCMS/FOSS check: no relevant information found.
- Application locked-in on 2015-09-15. This is the day they received our file in Mississauga.
- Correct fees received and allocated.
- Medical is associated to the file. We did the upfront medical as well.
- SPR and married on [our marriage certificate's date]
- Marriage certificate is on file.
- SPR is a permanent resident residing in Canada.
- R11 based on country of nationality: Singapore
- Excess photos, letters and chat logs have been shredded. We must have sent too many evidence. But excess is still better than insufficient. They shredded for free so we do not mind. ;D ;D
- Case forwarded to VO for processing.

Also, on Nov 20, the eligibility of my wife updated from nothing to "Not Started" as well.

There was barely anything in them obviously as they just received my file.

How many pics and how many letters/call logs did you send?

Thanks for the reply. That's disappointing there wasn't more info in them. I was under the impression there was info about what the officer in Mississauga thought about your relationship and if he saw any red flags. In your case maybe that is good and means he had no concerns so nothing to warn the VO about. I ordered mine about a month after I got the 3rd line so hopefully there is a little more info.

It's weird how some people get their notes in a week or two and others wait more than the posted time of 30 days. I wonder if there is any commonality in those who get them quickly vs late?

I am not sure about why some people wait longer. It doesn't make sense to me.

From what I read if the initial officer finds any flags they will mark "Review Needed" under eligibility and if they don't find any it will read as "Not Started". I don't know how accurate that statement is but I sure hope it's accurate as mine said Not Started! I will be ordering them every month or month and a half until my wife gets the visa. At $5 a pop, I see it as a good investment to know exactly what is going on with my application at all times.

I would like to ask on my gcms notes it said security: not started but i also saw s.19(1) on the top right on one of the pages...

Does anyone know what that means?

And also does anyone know if in the notes it says recommended interview then does the applicant go through an interview for sure?? Or is there a chance that they skip the interview?

I would appreciate if anyone can give me any input on this please?

What is your timeline?

I am not sure once an interview is requested if you can get out of it, but if I was you I would visit/have your spouse visit you and also bombard them with more proofs if possible.

I mailed my application on February 23, they received it on February 25, I received AOR1 on March 24, SA April 5, AOR2 April 15.

SA took 40 days. 50 days from filed to AOR2.

And I think they are slow lol.

We sent around 250 photos, half of them are from our Engagement & Wedding Ceremony, as well as our Honey Moon. For letters/postcards, we sent around 100 of them. We do not have any call logs.

We sent about 75 photos, a few postcards, and like 90 pages of screenshots of whatsapp calls. We also sent about 90 pages of copy/pasted whatsapp chat and another 75 pages of screenshots of whatsapp chat.

I have requested GCMS notes twice . and notes are as belows

In Note 1 its written as " in queue for interview as of 22/11/2015 - can be over 1 year - Spr passed 2015/04/11 - will exceed ) " updated on 03mar2016

In Note 2 its written as " Docs on file and notes below reviewed . Sponsor info including employment letter reviewed . Interview to be scheduled " updated on nov 2015

Please can anyone tell me about is it serious issue ? will it take more than one year ?
