My file was listed as "put away" and it was over 9 months until I heard from LVO and they started processing everything. From what i gather, PA is a temporary purgatory...it might be a while until they decide to check your file.searing_heat said:Hello all - need some guidance here.
June 14th applicant with LVO and just got my notes.
Three questions:
- Status for eligibility says 'Not Started' and File Location 'PA - Put Away'. Based on the information listed on the first page of this thread, 'Not Started' would mean that the eligibility is in process? I do not see any notes on the PR application written by the VO (toward the end of the notes file). What do you guys think, has they even started the eligibility review process?
- How can I know when these notes were generated? The date on the file says Dec 19th (header and footer), but the latest 'Update Date' at couple spots is listed as Dec 20th. How's that even possible? I ordered notes on Dec 13th and did not get them until today after multiple emails to the ATIP. Does this mean these notes are not recent but were generated in December and do not represent the current status? Boggles my mind on why would they not send it earlier if they generated it on Dec 19th.
- What does the 'Due Date' field mean? I see it under application assignment as Dec 30th.
Appreciate your thoughts and I shall try to lower my anxiety accordingly
Normally they generate the report within one week after you apply. So these notices are upto Dec 19th or 20th.searing_heat said:Hello all - need some guidance here.

Thanks! So they have not even started to look at eligibilityrightback said:Normally they generate the report within one week after you apply. So these notices are upto Dec 19th or 20th.
Due date is the task date assigned to any officer working on the file. It does not mean that your application will be processed by that date. That could be review, asking additional information etc. etc.
Most cases physical file is PA-Put away as that is not needed. most of the work is done electronically.
Status of eligibility not started means not started, otherwise it could be assigned, in process.
Yep it's possible to order your note after DM I did. And if you're both in Canada now it will be free and if you order the note under th PA name you don't have to take care of the consent formdanawhitaker said:Since my application has progressed at a fairly normal pace and is relatively straight-forward, I've never bothered ordering notes. But what my husband and I were wondering is if it's possible to order GCMS notes after receiving DM and PPR (basically, after the application has been approved and no further work is going to be done on the file). We're curious to see what's in our notes, we just don't have any desire to see them before the process is absolutely complete.
Thanks!
