Hi,
Thanks for the reply tiger007. AS per my knowledge there is only 1 course-GBM (humber college) with a 2 years duration for the Jan '13 intake. I've read bad reviews about it. Also I'm worried about the visa rejection since I've heard this course is an easy gateway for the 3 year PGWP. What is your take on it?
Thanks a lot again!
Hi,
There are 4 courses for Business-PG 2 years duration:
1. Humber college, Toronto - 2 years GBM
2. Centennial college, Toronto - 2 years GBM
3. Lambton college, Sarnia - 2 years PG certificate in Business Management. - General, Accounting, IB, Finance& Banking.
4. Lambton college, Toronto campus - 2 years PG certificate in B.M - only offered IB and Finance & Banking
5. Lambton college, Lloydminster border town, Saskatchewan - 2 years PG certificate in B.M (Also offered an 1 year accelerated PG certificate for same course in Sask.)
If you can secure an internship in Lambton college course(all campuses)... then the cost of tuition fees will be much lower, as compared to Centennial and Humber. All programmes will make you eligible to apply for a 3 years PGWP.. You can choose to do it in Toronto (comparatively plenty of part time jobs, big city) or a small border town in Sask. (where comparatively few part time jobs but since, it is in Sask., good for PR.. as you will need to work only for 6 months in Sask to apply under student category of SINP, as opposed to full 1 year for out of province students).
To be honest.. none of them is world-class per se.
Best of Luck.
