Add me in the list

Full documents sent on 27th March 2010 to CHC Islamabad. E-cas status "Received by Visa office". Second AOR pending.

A friend of mine sent full application to CHC Islamabad on 25th March and he has received second AOR on 9th April. I am worried why I haven't received it as of yet :(

I have sent my full document to CHC Islamabad on 27th of March 2010, My application status is changed “Received by Visa Office” on 12th of April, Yesterday I got the letter from CHC, in which they just enclosed the fee payment receipt of my new born baby, there is no letter in the envelop, just small receipt with other file number.
Is it strange? As normally they send letter to concern with some information, new file number and other details. but here only the fee payment reecipt is enclosed, nothing else. Please advice

aahmad, lets wait for the seniors to reply.. specifically from CHC Islamabad too..

Hi

Is it necessary to send RPRF fee while sending the full doc to New Delhi or we can send when they request at the time of medical

Please advise ASAP

Hi Bubbles,

In your 2nd AOR do you have three letters in close parenthesis after your file number? Do you know what it means? Mine like this B*********(nba). :)

They use this code; I have received a B*******(SW1) code on my 2nd AOR. But in your case (nba)? no idea.

Coding Instructions – Computer Assisted Immigration Processing System (CAIPS)
As of April 15, 2009, two additional immigrant categories are used for FSW applicants found
eligible for processing. Please make the appropriate selection:
SW1– Skilled Worker One year of continuous work experience in a NOC category
listed in the Ministerial Instructions
SW2 (new) Arranged employment offer (AEO)
SW3 (new) Temporary foreign worker (TFW) or international student
residing in Canada for one year and still in Canada

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. The BXXXXXXXX(nba) was written on the Title of the email that I have received - Application for a Canadian Visa- B********(nba). However inside of the email my file number is B********(SW1).

Hi guys,

when status of an application is update from "Received by Visa office" to "in-process", does this mean that the application has met minimum number of points (67) or points are calculated and there will be no rejection on the basis of not meeting minimum points? I have noticed that some of the applicants who received rejections for not meeting minimum number of points was during the time their application was in" received by visa office" status.

please share your views on this point.

Thanks
