Sorry for interrupting the thread.
I would like to know how does the new rule effect us who already sent the full doc under previous rule and 38 occupation list? Canada government said that they will limit the number of applications considered for processing to 20,000 per year as a way to better manage the supply of applications with labour market demand. Within the 20,000 limit, a maximum of 1,000 applications per occupation will be considered.

Thank you everybody for your wishes. It was sent by post. I didn't receive the PPR though. They have not yet made any phone call or visit yet to verify my work experience. I think it will follow soon.

I've sent full doc to singapore on 24 mar, recvd there on 27 & sent and AOR on 7 apr which i recvd at 13 apr. Can n 1 tell how long will it take to send med req if everything is OK? Res

would you please share your IELTS score and information about your relative who might be on Social aid in Canada and from whom you might have claimed points.

remember, arlnr has been given times on this two issues, yourre 4131, So thought may be you were lucky or not.

@ jnathan, My IELTS Score: L-7, R-7, W-7, S-6. I was in need of 11 points from IELTS and I got it (12). I don't have any relative in Canada. I got 5 points from Spouse education.

How many days it take a mail reach Dhaka from Singapore? Does anyone know?

my 2nd AOR took 15 days to reach in my hand from Singapore. I dont know why it takes so long, Singapore is only 5 hours away by Air from DAC, BG even offer a faster service of 3.5 hrs DAC-Changi or Changi to Dhaka to beat Thai Air.

I think it varies, Gulshan, Banani, Baridhara and Old Dhaka and sorrounding people get faster delivaries.
